Referees are responsible for knowing all league rules and the game on the court. The referees’ judgment is final in a game and in regard to the behavior of participants, staff and fans. Each week during the season, referees will meet to discuss the week’s message, report any plays or players from games that week for the newsletter and discuss any issues and/or upcoming events. Those who choose to officiate for their community service hours will need to pass a background check and attend the coaching success and coaching philosophy/game management classes. Members of the program will be allowed access to the college and professional programs and earn community service hours.
