African Djembe Drum Circle
Come join us and learn basic African drumming strokes and rhythms in this African Drum Circle.
You don’t need to know how to play the African Drum. Dr. Woods will teach you everything you need to know. We will have fun learning about some history and traditions of African Djembe drumming and some African percussion instruments, such as the tic-toc drum, seed pod rattles and rain sticks. We will learn a African song “Funga Alafia” also a African dance “The Lion has a Tail” You don’t want to miss this. Be the first to sign-up, we have a drum for you!
